Her biography and included links to work are under the partners tab. (The tab for Portfolio links to the portfolio for the entire firm.) Upon clicking on the links to her work, a page opens to specific projects and includes a description. Some of the project pages are vertically oriented and allow you to click on an image to see an enlargement that opens in another window. Other project pages are horizontally oriented and slide to the right to reveal more images. The horizontal orientation fits with the rest of the website (the home page for instance); the vertical oriented pages don't seem to truly fit with the feel of the rest of the site. A couple of the project page links weren't working or linked to something else. The contrasting colors and dynamic layout of text attract me to her work. Other than the switch in orientation, the horizontal presentation is effective in communicating that the design of the site was considered. That simple switch from the expected vertical got my attention. As a student & soon-to-be graduate, sharing a site in this same manner to display my work wouldn't be appropriate. Instead of one page or link to navigate towards work completed by this specific artist, the viewer has hunt for links within a biography text. The single-page organization of a header, footer, and left column with quicklinks or image based links could be appropriate for my online portfolio site.
